INSTRUCTIONS:
1. Insert meat thermometer in small hole on
side of microwave
2. Be careful when handling metal grill. There may be sharp
edges.
3. Lift lid and wrap metal grill inside with aluminum foil.
This will make it
easier to clean. Punch several small holes through the foil.
This will allow grease
and oil to drain down inside the box and drain to the back
through two holes.
Grease and oil may be collected in metal container placed
under holes.
4. Load the metal pan, whicj is on the lid of the box, with
charcoal. Do not
overload. Keep coals level with top of pan. If charcoal
lighter is used, be careful
not to get it on the wood frame.
5. After coal is burning, keep a close watch on the
temperature. Do not heat the
box over 300 degrees F.
6. Depending on how much meat you cook, you may have to
reload the charcoal.
If you add more coals, you will need to remove the coals
that are still burning.
Empty out all the ashes. This will save time.
7. Heat range should be 275-300 degrees F. This should cook
50-70 lbs. of meat
in 4-6 hours. You may turn the meat over every hour during
the cooking time.
8. Heat may be controlled by lifting lid and placing small
wood stick to create
ventilation until temperature is down to desired level.
